Handicap Guidelines (USGA)

Acceptable Scores that MUST be Posted:

  Post your score when you play at least 7 holes of a 9-hole round, or 14 holes of an 18-hole round. 

  Score the holes NOT PLAYED at PAR PLUS “pops” for the hole. 

(Pops per hole are based on the hole’s difficulty and your course handicap for 9 holes. If you have questions on how to calculate

your pops for a hole, please contact someone from either the pairings or handicap committee).

√  Post your score when the majority of holes are played according to the Rules of Golf.

  Post your score when you play on any course that has a slope and rating.

Unacceptable  Scores for Posting

  Do not post scores when fewer than 7 holes are played.

  Do not post scores if a majority of holes are not played according to the rules of golf.

  Do not post scores from a 9-hole course of less than 1500 yds. or an 18-hole course of less than 3000 yds.

  Do not post scores when you are restricted in the number of clubs you can use to play the round.

Do not post scores from a course that has no slope and rating.
