MPLN Minutes for January 17, 2012

General Membership Meeting.Sue Staker called to order a General Membership Business Meeting at the Annual Dinner in the MVCC Ballroom.

The purpose of the meeting was review of By-Laws and Procedure and Policies change. The change is as follows:

POLICY: LIMITED TOURNAMENTS (p.5)

Tournament Eligibility:

To be eligible to play in the Club Championship and/or President’s Cup a player must have been an MPLN member for a minimum of three months and must have participated in a least six league days within the 12 month period preceding the event.

PROPOSED CHANGE:To be eligible to play in the Club Championship and/or President’s Cup a player must have been an MPLN member for a minimum of three months and must have participated in at least ten league days within the 12 month period preceding the event.

It was moved and seconded we accept the changes as written.

Motion carried by unanimous oral vote.

Business meeting was adjourned by Sue Staker.
